So, it is Friday night, and it has taken me a while to actually sit down and start typing. I am honestly really tired, and I have been since about six or so, but today was a good day nonetheless. Let me catch you up though about yesterday. I ended up going to IKEA with some of my mother's friends, and role models of mine, from my volunteer days the American Red Cross. We all got some needed (and not so needed) things for the home, dorm, and office spaces, which was pretty sweet. I ended up getting a bath mat for those gross public dormitory floors (finally!), I also got some coasters for the desks, and a laptop stand for one's lap and desk (I am actually using it now), as well as two other things for a friend of mine, who may or may not be reading this. But, those will be given to them once I return to school. But after we walked the entirety of IKEA, we had to cash out. And to my surprise I only spent $20.13, which was a bargain. I had a terrible time trying to fall asleep last night, I ended up having to take a shot of Nyquil to put my ass to sleep.
After I woke up this afternoon, I showered, styled my hair, did my make up and ate some lunch. Today's lunch was the rest of the left over beef roast and vegetables that my father had made me a few days ago, which was still pretty good. I watched some Dexter on Netflix, got to the end of Season 4 today, so I decided to walk away, until I revisit again. Maybe I will watch Season 5 tomorrow, depending on how early I wake up; or not. I am really anxious because tomorrow is the last FULL day I will be in this damn city, and I cannot wait to return back to my little sanctuary & the closest thing I have had to my own life. I am finalizing my schedule, making meetings, and hopefully ordering my textbooks sooner than later. I am also finalizing my work schedules & already have some days of work for next week, which I am excited about. I am hopefully going to be accomplishing some short terms goals I have set for myself recently, and getting a car before the end of the semester is definitely one of them. I am tired of having to depend on everyone else, and having a car would really help me manage my time. If you know of any GOOD used car places in the Massachusetts area in the Springfield area, or in the Fall River area, please shoot me something in the comments. Maybe I can get some advice on what or what not to get. I wanted something smaller than a mini van, but bigger than a car? Something good in snow, and something good for road trips. Color does not really matter, I'd love it if it was any kind of green, but like I said, it doesn't really matter I suppose. With that being said, the rest of my day was pretty good. I ended up seeing my godmother & my cousin for dinner, we had some pretty bomb KFC, and for some reason ended up making chocolate chip muffins together. It was a good activity. It is crazy to see my cousin growing up, I remember when she was about five years old; where did the six years go? Man.... We are all bound to grow up, I am not sure why it is such a shock to me. Anyways, after we made and ate some of those lovely muffins, we lounged around, talked for a bit, and then I came back to my Dad's. I figured I would make a blog before I went to sleep, and so be it. Mission accomplished. I am not going to post anything tomorrow, because I have told you all about how much I want to be at school already, and I am sure me repeating myself is getting rather annoying. But, I am sure I will post something on Sunday once I am back, and if I don't, don't get mad. Keep the pitchforks and torches in the shed. Because the more time I am away from my blog, the more I get to tell you guys once the time comes. If I am gone too long, I will be sure to post a video rather than type it all out.
Like always, be sure to leave your comments, feedback, questions, concerns, whatever it may be. Have a great night folks! "C'est La Vie!"
